San Antonio ISD Graduates take on energy savings at District

As part of a summer internship offered by nonprofit Best Earth Ever (BEE) Project, four recent San Antonio ISD graduates have devised an energy savings plan that they hope can contribute to cutting District energy usage 5% in the 2021-2022 school year. The students considered the effects of human interaction on energy savings, noticing that small actions, like turning off classroom lights at the end of the day, can significantly reduce energy consumption.
